Strawberry Lemonade

We got a bunch of strawberries on sale at the grocery store last week. We just ate a lot of them, but we also tried these next few recipes. They were super yummy!

Strawberry Lemonade

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
6 cups cold water
1 cup lemon juice
6 tablespoons sweetened, condensed milk
4-6 large strawberries, hulled
1 tray of ice

Directions:
Mix cold water and sugar. Chill until ready to serve. Mix lemon juice, strawberries, and sweetened condensed milk in a blender or food processor until berries are pureed. Add ice and pulse until ice is crushed. Whisk berry mixture into chilled sugar water. Serve and enjoy!!

*I think this would also be yummy with lime juice and cherries. I haven't tried it, but I think it would be tasty!

  1. Oooh that sounds tasty. Strawberries are on sale here too, I got a flat last week and made freezer jam. Looks like I'll need to get more to make this :)
