Duh!

Maybe I'm sleep deprived, but I'm probably just an idiot! Thanks, Lara for uncomplicating this whole thing for me!

The sidebar was really long, but I wanted to make it easy to find the recipes. I completely forgot that there is a search bar on the top of the blog! So, if you want to find chicken recipes, all you have to do is type "chicken" into the search box! It will also work if you are looking for a specific recipe. So, from now on, let's just label the recipes in the category they belong. e.g. Main Dishes, Sides, Breakfast, Salads, etc...

So, how about we meet everyone? Not everyone has contributed, but here are the other authors on this blog. I'll just do this in the order you are all in on the permissions page.

Anne B.~ I don't know if she wants me to share her real name, but a lot of you know her husband. Check out her blog to figure it out! I met her a few years ago, and I think she is awesome! She also has great taste in little girl's names! ;) She's got a darling little girl and two cute boys, one of which is a few weeks younger than my baby.

Torrey~ I met Torrey on my wedding day. I came out of the dressing room and saw her and her husband. I instantly knew who they were, but wasn't officially introduced until after the wedding. She is my Sister-In-Law, and a complete crack up! :) She's got two girls and two boys. I think it's funny how her #1 and #3 look alike, and her #2 and #4 look alike, but they are two completely different looks! They are all so stinking cute!

Jeff~ My big brother. He is old. And married. And has the cutest little girl! I just love her! Jeff and I can talk for hours about cooking. I think a lot of you already know him. If not, then you're really missing out! ;)

Lacey~ I first met her when I was about to have my third baby. She came all the way over to my house alone; just to meet the family. She was recently engaged to my brother, Josh. They've been married for a while and now they now have two darling little girls, and another little baby on the way! Lacey and I almost died on Black Friday a few years ago. Good times!

LeAnn~ When I first met LeAnn, I was dating my hubs. She is married to his brother. She gave me a recipe for Chicken Enchiladas, and it made me nervous. It made me realize that if everything worked out, I might be needing that recipe! We hit it off from the beginning and I absolutely love her! I've got the best Sisters-In-Law! (...on both sides! I'm so lucky!) LeAnn has two boys and two girls, but one of them won't make her debut until January.

Elizabeth~ Another Sister-In-Law! She is married to my brother, Nick, and I am completely smitten with her little guy! I first met Elizabeth at my sister's wedding reception, but she wasn't dating my brother. I'm glad they got together. I think I like her better than Nick! ;) Ha ha!

Lara~ I don't even remember when I first met Lara. I've known her and her husband forever. In high school, I called her Lard, and she called me Nanny Goat. We got into a lot of trouble in band! Good times. She has adorable twin girls the same age as my baby, and a cute little guy the same age as my fourth child.

Knudsen Quad~ I don't know if she wants her real name on here, but I really like this girl. She was pretty young when I first met her. She is my husband's cousin. She has two gorgeous little girls. She is a lot of fun to sit and chat with. Again, I really lucked out with the in-laws!

Janelle~ Janelle is my favorite sister. We shared a room when we were growing up. It was fun to jump from bed to bed. I have so many fun memories with her. She has a cute little boy who is dying to meet his favorite aunt! ;) Janelle has some mad knitting skills and is also Vegan. I hope she posts her healthy recipes! Maybe she can help us all get a bit healthier!

Sandra~ I met Sandra in college and have gotten to know her a lot better the past few years through Blogging. She is a lot of fun. I was on the Institute Council with her husband. We joked that he was going to have a million kids and be a Bishop. He was recently called as a Bishop, and they're expecting their sixth child! Hooray for big families!

sherry_kay16~ I guess it's okay to mention her name, since it's in her username. Sherry and I met in high school. We spent a lot of time talking in Spanish, only we were speaking English! We had a bunch of classes together. She is one of my dearest friends. We should have done more in high school. Oh, and she has to copy me. She has four boys, AND her oldest has the same birthday as my oldest; only a year later. If she really wants to be like me; she needs to have one more little boy! :)

...and that's everyone so far. If more people join, I'll be sure to introduce them. Oh, and if you want me to set it up so that comments are emailed to you, let me know. If you do that, then you'll know when someone comments on an older post, too.

So, what's for dinner tonight?

  2. Nice to meet you everyone! And, Nat, this is an interesting tid-bit of information. Sandra and I are from the same town, although she is WAY older than me! ;) We worked on Student Government together and I think she is AWESOME!

  3. P.S. I also love Jeff, in that brotherly sort of way. He and I used to talk for hours at the library. I also love his little wifey and would love to meet their little girl some day!
