Cupcake Cones

Cupcake Cones
Ingredients:
1 pkg. (2-layer size) cake mix, any flavor
24 flat bottomed ice cream cones
1 can (16 oz.) ready-to-spread frosting, any flavor
Directions:PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Prepare cake batter as directed on package; pour evenly into ice cream cups, filling each cup about half full.
BAKE 20 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool completely.
SPREAD tops with frosting. Garnish with colored sprinkles, if desired.
Variation:
Brownie Cones
Prepare as directed, substituting 1 pkg. (18 oz.) brownie mix for the cake mix. Bake 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out with fudgy crumbs. Omit frosting, if desired.
