Chicken Tortilla Soup

Chicken Tortilla Soup

Ingredients:
4 cups cubed, browned chicken breast
1 cup chopped onion (browned with chicken)
2 14 ounce cans chicken broth
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (I always leave this out because cilantro is nasty!!)
1/8 teaspoon powdered cumin
1 4 ounce can diced chilies
1 14 ounce can petite diced tomatoes
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/4 tablespoons lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
Tortilla chips
Shredded cheese

Directions:
Brown chicken and onion in a skillet. Add remaining ingredients in a large pot. Add chicken and onion. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Serve hot over tortilla chips and shredded cheese.
