Beef Stroganoff Sandwich

Another one of my favorites

Ingredients:

2lbs ground beef (I use less)
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp pepper
1 loaf French bread
2 cups sour cream
2 tomatoes diced
1 lg green pepper chopped
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Procedure:

1 Brown beef and onion. Drain
2 Add salt, garlic and pepper.
3 Cut bread lengthwise and butter both halves.
4 Place on baking sheet. Remove mixture from heat and add sour cream.
5 Spoon onto bread. Sprinkle tomatoes, green pepper and cheese.
6 Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Servings: 8
